Hi I'm Katherine and I'm a Writer (Video!)

So, this video was made because I am, as it seems, unfortunately, not cut out for traditional blogging. But here, have a videoblog instead!

    Dear Ms. Katherine Ewell:

I am a seventh grade student that goes to Fountain Hills Middle School in Fountain Hills, Arizona. My name is Kambria VanOrden and I love to hang out with friends, play sports and even write short stories in my free time. In our English class, we are working on how to format and write a formal letter. We have the chance to write to an author of the book that we just read, and for me, that author was you!

I am writing to you because I currently just finished reading your book that you wrote, Dear Killer. This book is now one of my all time favorites. I love how you made the perfect killer such a sneaky, smart girl. I also like how you made Kit, the perfect killer, such a good actor in public and in the end, you had her turn herself into the cops. While I was reading, I couldn’t just stop because it was such a good book. The mysteries and drama in the story pulled me in and made me want to keep on reading, and that I enjoy.

If you don’t mind, I would like to ask you a few questions about Dear Killer. Why did you make the perfect killer turn herself into the cops at the end of the story? Are you planning on writing a second book? If so, would it be about Kit in jail and her mom trying to fight back and get out of jail or something even better? How did you come up with the idea of the perfect killer? Have you met someone who wanted to be like Kit but didn’t succeed in doing her job? If so, how did you meet this certain person? Thank you so much for your time and I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Sincerely,

    Kambria VanOrden
